Ranjit, who set up Scoot with husband Michael and brother Surbjit in 2003, has been nominated in the Entrepreneur of the Year category – along with Umer Ashraf Malik of iCafe and Rita Ahmad-Poddar of Peppermint Studios. The Scottish Asian Business Awards is a prestigious competition which celebrates and showcases the talent and achievements of Scottish Asian entrepreneurs who are pioneers in their respective industries.
