About me

spacer Hey, I’m Denisa and I’m a long-time practitioner of dream control and creative dreaming. Thanks for checking out the site. For those who are interested in who I am I just thought I’d share my personal story briefly..

Have you ever tried to consciously influence your dream? I have, and it works! I’ve been practicing dream control for over 15 years now. How did I do it? Why did I decide to learn how to control dreams?

My First Conscious Dream Control Experience

For some reason I am convinced that my very first conscious dream (called lucid dream) occurred when I was a kid, but I cannot recall. The first dream I CAN remember was at the college:

“I found myself in an old greyish house that seemed unfamiliar to me. A stranger was in one of the rooms with me – it felt like he was paying a visit. He was very tall, wearing a Dick Tracy kind of trench coat and his face was blurred. He was offering me various FOODS to taste; chasing me all over the place with his backpack, reaching out with hands full of edibles. I was trying to get him out of the house by any means – pushing him out, trying to escape away from him… Suddenly I turned around and decided to confront him directly. During our negotiation process I realized I was not only influencing my own arguments, but also putting words in his mouth. At last, he’s left, leaving me totally blown. A short sweet moment allowed me to realize I was totally aware of myself. Suddenly I lost the clarity of the dream and woke up “exhausted” from all the mental work…”

The vivid character of my experience and lack of detail made me realize – I was in a dream! I was blown away – everything seemed very real – the scenery, the objects and the characters… I could smell the air in the gloomy room I was in, taste the bitterness of a fruit I was offered, and hear just like in a real life!

I was stunned by the fact that I could control and direct my awareness in the dream!  I run out of words in describing the feeling of total freedom of manipulation and emotion of inspiration of such dream… I cannot recall the whole plot in detail, as I didn’t write it down after waking up, but after so many years I still remember the basics. That’s how important this dream was.

I had no idea what happened: how come I could manipulate the course of my actions in a dream, while realizing I was dreaming? I wanted to replicate this incidental experience as often as I could. I found out that I’d experienced a naturally occurring lucid dream. Great. But how to learn to have lucid dreams whenever I WANT and easily manipulate them?

How I Learned To Control My Dreams

My first assumption after initial research was that it was too time-consuming and difficult to learn. I wanted a shortcut. But after further researching I found out there just wasn’t any! At last (and luckily), curiosity won over impatience and lack of self-confidence -  I started gathering more information and practicing a few techniques. Slowly, I became a proficient manipulator of my dreams. I was able to turn an average dream into fantasy that made me be excited most of the time I crawled into bed.

Realizing what an unlimited potential such practice offered me, I set on a journey of exploring my inner self and I never looked back. I wished there was a comprehensive guide on how to control dreams but I could not find any that would suit my needs. There was tons of information scattered across many resources, but going through all this stuff just made it difficult to stay focused on what I wanted to accomplish. So I opted for self-study way and slowly learnt how to achieve certain desires in my dreams.

A while ago I came across an e-book on how to get lucid called Lucid Dreaming Fast Track (The Art Of Lucid Dreaming – The Pursuit Of Conscious Dream Control). There I‘ve discovered the most effective techniques on lucid dream induction and dream control for beginners I came across in my research and practice. Having such guide when I needed, it could have saved me years of trials and errors!

It offers step-by-step instructions on how to lucid dream safely and learn the scientifically proven skill of influencing your dreaming experience. And more importantly – it helps developing these skills in a fascinating way – from using mirrors as portals to other dimensions to conversations with dream characters. Lots of fun I’m telling you!

How I Benefit From Controlling My Dreams

I’ve had many lucid dreams since my first experience at the college. I have resolved a lot of inner conflicts and came up with many solutions for my work. I have travelled through time and space million times. I have rocketed throught universe and explored Venus in a close up…  I’ve learned dreams to be much more than breathtaking trips into my subconscious. They’ve literally changed my life. In tough times I benefited from self healing aspect of these vivid dreams; in the long run I’ve developed more self-reflection and personal strength.

Controlling dreams is an innate ability, because everybody has the capacity to lucid dream. With certain level of commitment YOU can learn to persuade the subconscious mind and alter your dream situations as well!

In whatever way you travel through your dream world, I hope you enjoy it. I certainly enjoyed writing this blog!

To your sweetest dreams,

Denisa
