China's space exploration program continues to post impressive accomplishments. On Friday, June 29, 2012 the George Marshall Institute and the Space Enterprise Council hosted a discussion about China's activities and plans and their implications for the U.S.
Is a new space race emerging? Will the U.S. begin to place greater urgency on its own space exploration efforts in response to China? Does the Chinese program present other national security or geopolitical concerns? Why has China elected to prioritize space activities?
