I’m 36. I’ve been married for 17 years. I have three kids, ages 16, 15 and 12. I joined the church when I was 18. My boyfriend, who I’d known since high school, baptized me, and I married him about a month later. Since we’ve been married, we’ve lived in roughly 15 wards in three states.

I grew up in Seattle, WA. After getting married we moved to Hawaii for a short time, then came back to Washington and lived in various places, including Kent, Tacoma, Seattle, and Sequim. We currently live in Huntington Beach, CA. (Orange County. Wooo.)

My husband is a mechanical engineer for a snowboard company, and I work as a web developer for an advertising agency in LA. (Our life only sounds glamorous.)

Other facts about me: I’m diabetic. I love strawberries and blueberries. I’m slightly obsessed with music. I’m addicted to
Lumines. I love bad TV. I work in the nursery, and love it. I don’t mind public speaking (or baring my soul on the Internet), but make me walk into a room full of people that I’m supposed to socialize with and I’ll hide in a corner. (Even if those people are my family.) I love photography. I can identify Chevies made in 1955-1958. I can do almost the entire Debbie Boone song, “You Light Up My Life,” in sign language.

And I love the gospel.
