A Soft Answer is a blog primarily dealing with politics from a Latter-day Saint (or Mormon) perspective.

This potentially pretentious title hails from Proverbs 15:1:

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

The goal is to be opinionated while still being civil.

It’s an unseemly mix of politics, religion, a look at the Bloggernacle, and unrelated content that I find interesting.

Blogging may be a vainglorious waste of time and I have many other better things to do with my time. Fortunately, I usually do those other things. But when I think I should just drop blogging altogether, something keeps pulling me in.
