Alright Lads,
Sorry to break the general trend of people speaking in for foreign languages, i feel slightly guilty, je ne fais pas parle dans le francais, right i feel better,
It's a good quality sheet lads but something i noticed is the break tag. You put into dreamweaver 8 or any equivical, recently updated program and see what happens. Not a lot
For people who are wondering why the furture of HTML is not really going anywhere because as anyone who has experiance in programming will tell you it is not powerful enough. The new 'more powerful' language which is being brought in called XHTML is a more definite and powerful (XML based) language and so anything which has been opened must be closed, obviously it is a single function and so there is no 'other' funcion to close which is why it was left like that im times gone by, but now , if you are working in a updated program is the only function which will work.
Bit of an essay but im bored at work :D
When the squared boys wrote this was the commonly used function so theve done nothing wrong but times change boys :P

Yo Mike,
I should really get James to update that - the line break <br> tag is old school and violates XHTML validation, and it is essential now to write it like <br /> to satisfy XHTML validation. Bah, designers, what do they know!?

As Mike says, this is fine for HTML, but as everyone in the world now wants to be XHTML valid, we will probably release an XHTML help sheet when we get time.
Also when our lazy PHP developers get time, there should be a PHP Help Sheet on the horizon ;-)

hi all iam having trouble with my site www.diyanswerdirect.com and need some help with the xhtml on it. I have 54 warnings when i try to verify it iam using site builder with yahoo and cant see the html all i can see is the files in my site. my question is how do i solve this problem is there any webpage anyone knoes of that can give me some advice thankyou lee
