Rational numbers
This is the second of two new voodoo boxes. This one is called “Rational Numbers”. There is magic in numbers, spirits hide in the spaces between them. They are fond of fractions.
Both these boxes should be on view at the American Sewing Expo in Novi this weekend.

Ezili veve
This is another reduction print, I did this for a book swap. This is a veve (religious symbol) for Ezili Freda, one of the lwa (similar to saints) of Haitian voodoo. Ezili Freda is in charge of beauty, love and luxury.

Two more boxes
I’m showing you two more of my voodoo boxes to entice you to come see our show at Liberty Street Brewing. My work is hanging along side Joan Potter Thomas’s work, her stuff is amazing. Come see it. The opening is tonight at 7:00, and the show will be up through September.
