Research

At Minnesota State Mankato, our faculty and students thrive in a community of scholars where knowledge is combined with the passion to achieve great things. Within this community, faculty and students work together as they apply their knowledge to solve real–world problems.

Minnesota State Mankato faculty members are scholars on the leading edge of knowledge in their fields. Their research has received support from private industry and the federal government, including millions of dollars from external funding agencies.

On campus, faculty and students conduct research in state–of–the–art facilities, including a number of research centers.

The University provides direct support for faculty research, including several internal research grant programs and assistance in applying for external funding.
