Student Mentoring and After School Help
During the following school year after camp, we further develop a mentorship with these children by putting on an after school tutoring program we fondly refer to as SMASH, (Student Mentoring and After School Help). Through SMASH we help students with their homework, create art projects, and conduct science experiments. SMASH is held Monday through Wednesday at three different elementary schools.
Monday: MLK 2:30-4:00
Tuesday: Vermont 1:30 – 3:00
Wednesday: 32nd St – 2:15-4:15
Thursday: Weemes – 2:30-4:00
