Get Outdoors

Outings

You don’t have to be a Sierra Club member to participate! Just show up with adequate food, water, and clothing. Field guides, snacks, and humor are welcome.

Inner City Outings

ICO is a community outreach program that provides opportunities for urban youth to explore, enjoy and protect the natural world. If you enjoy working with kids, check out this wonderful program.

Transit to Green Space

Transit to Green Space outings are a series launched by the Land Use and Transportation committee of the Sierra Club North Star Chapter in an ongoing exploration of ways to reach our parks and natural areas without cars.

OWLS

OWLS is a group of retirement-age members of the Sierra Club who get together each month for weekday outings and occasional overnight trips. We go at a gentler pace than the usual Sierra outings, and with distance options geared to our varying physical abilities.
