In reply to “Getting Away With Murder,” by Justin Raimondo, 10/05/12:
Raimondo is a true wealth of real information. It’s always like he’s reporting from the inside, as if he’s actually there seeing and understanding exactly what’s going on.
All of you at Antiwar are awesome. I get more info about the world from your site every single day than I get from a year’s worth of all other media outlets combined. Modern media journalism at its best.

In reply to “Turkish Artillery Retaliates for Deadly Syrian Shelling,” by John Glaser, 10/03/12:
“Retaliates?” There is at least a 50% chance that this was a deliberate provocation by anti-government forces or even western special forces. We have seen all this before in the break up of Yugoslavia.

In reply to “Bibi’s Crazy UN Speech,” by Justin Raimondo, 09/28/12:
You write “Netanyahu went on to cite the nonexistent ‘record of Iranian aggression without nuclear weapons’ — an odd claim, since Iran hasn’t attacked a single one of its neighbors since the Battle of Thermopylae.”
That simply isn’t true. It attacked Russia in the 19th century, invaded India in the 18th century (destabilising the Mogul Empire), frequently attacked the Ottomans between the 16th and 18th centuries, and famously nearly destroyed the Byzantine Empire when it attacked the previous time it was a power in its own right. In fact, the only times it didn’t do that sort of thing were when it was too weak.
