- SURFNET conducts 100Gbps international trial over 622 km of IEEAF donated fiber from Amsterdam to Hamburg. This fiber, provided to IEEAF by EuroFiber, also supports other international links for both production and experimental R&E networking (the Global Quilt), including GLORIAD connectivity to Russia, China and Korea, as well as 10 Gbps links to NORDUNET and Russia.
