History
Articulate City began as an idea in 2006 (we have The Rio cocktail napkins to prove it somewhere), and became a bona fide Ft. Collins business in 2007. Our membership has grown exponentially every year from our 15 Original members (including the “Original Original”, Ms. Amanda Miller, pictured here).
Since Articulate City started, we have gathered as a group to enjoy Russian ballet, tattoo art, the symphony, The Princess Bride, belly dancing, award-winning musical theater, a film festival, cutting-edge live performances from some of Colorado’s finest bands, countless art galleries, and even our own member-driven talent show. Articulate City members have contributed thousands of dollars to the Fort Collins local economy by having a good time.
The Who
Articulate City was created by sisters and Co-Queens Jeanie and Julie Sutter, who (upon moving back to Colorado after some years away) discovered a desire to put the art in party. Finding Fort Collins friends to join in the fun was the next step, and voila – Articulate City was born.
