I love rubber stamping!  My father is an amazing artist and my mother is one of those ridiculously creative people that can make an artistic masterpiece out of a wooden clothespin.  I was not blessed with either of their “creative” genes.  I signed up to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator at the very first party I attended after I realized that I didn’t need to be naturally artistic OR creative to start stamping.  Rubber stamping is my passion and my motto is “if it doesn’t move, I’ll stamp it”.  Ride along with me and enjoy your creative journey through Inkspiration Station!

I began, what would become my stamping career, as a hobby in the early 90’s.  I began taking classes in the basement, of a local woman.  In the early days, stamping was most popular in California . This lady would travel to California , and return with stamps and catalogues. I found that I could use the standard stamps in my own creative ways. One day, a friend, who knew that I liked stamping, invited me to a Stampin’ Up! workshop.  By chance, I sat next to the demonstrator, Amy Hazen.  I asked a lot of questions and was totally immersed in the workshop. Amy later told me that she knew that I would become a demonstrator, because of my enthusiasm for stamping.  I signed up within a month, and have been stamping ever since.  The best thing about Stampin’ Up!, is that I could make my own hours. I was able to work around my full-time jobs as teacher, advisor, and coach. Not only have I made extra money, I have won 6 incentive trips, and cash and gift awards. The greatest gift has been all the new friends that I have met, who share my love of stamping. Now that I am retired from teaching, I can devote more time to my stamping passion, while still having time to substitute and volunteer.  I look forward to sharing my love of stamping with you and many others.

Hello fellow stampers!!  My name is Jaye Griffin and I have been stamping for about 8 years now.  I have always loved making things by hand and giving them to people.  It is much more personal that way and people love that you took the extra time to make them something special.  I am excited to be sharing my projects with you and hope that they spark the creative side in you too!  Happy stamping!!

Stamping is my therapy. I love the shear enjoyment I get when I learn something new and then having the chance to share that with others. I am grateful for the friends I have made as a result of that sharing!  have been stamping for about 5 years now and can’t imagine what my life would be like without it. I’m here to be your creative coach, give you fun project ideas, and of course teach you something about stamping! I look forward to stamping with you!

I have been beading for 8 years.  I am like a kid in a candy store when I get around beads.  They are fun, shiny, sparkly and just make me feel happy.  I found it to be the only craft activity that I was somewhat good at.  I started by making a Mother’s bracelet for myself and when my friends saw it many of them wanted one.  I custom make them to fit the personality of the person so they are all different.  It is a great stress reliever for me.
