Restaurant obsessives want to know what's new, what's hot, which favorite chef just launched a sophomore effort, etc., and more often than not, tipsters, readers, friends and family of Eater have one question: Where should I eat right now? What is the "it" (ie, newest) place of the moment?
Thus, we offer the Eater Heatmap, which will change often to continually highlight where the food-focused crowds are flocking to at this very second. This time around, please welcome two new spots to the map, both representing for Longfellow: Parka and Blue Door Longfellow.

WHITTIER — For all those who mourned the loss of the Donut Cooperative, fear not: specialty donuts are coming back to Minneapolis at Glam Doll Donuts, which plans to open on February 1 at 2605 Nicollet Ave, next to the Black Forest Inn, according to the Southwest Journal. Like a recent episode of the Simpsons come to life, owners Teresa Fox and Arwyn Birch said that the store's concept was inspired by their trips to Seattle and Portland. Glam Doll Donuts will only be open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at first, but it will serve Intelligentsia coffee and more than 20 different kinds of donuts until 2 a.m. or possibly even later. LORING PARK — The Nicollet Diner plans to open this spring at 1428 Nicollet Ave. S, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu is already up on the restaurant website, featuring lots of diner classics as well as a few custom-neighborhood items like the Hangover Breakfast, the Loring Omelette, and the Nicollet Skillet.
