Gone are the days when top shelf spirits made drinking interesting. If a cocktail isn't on fire, afog with liquid nitrogen, mixed with long-forgotten bitters or garnished with misplaced kitchen ingredients, what's the point? So here are ten of the most unusual cocktail components in town, ranging from the obscure to the pickled to the invisible.
