Orange customers can use T-Mobile signal too, so you can use 'Signal From Both Networks'. Your phone will pick up T-Mobile signal when it doesn't have any Orange signal and you may see 'T-Mobile' on your screen. Other than that nothing else changes, including your charges.

Smart Signal Sharing

Did you know our network and T-Mobile’s network now work together better than ever?

Now your smartphone will automatically check to see which network has better 3G coverage and switch you over without you even noticing.

It all happens like magic in the background whether you’re online, in the middle of a call or sending a text. Instead of waiting for your Orange signal to drop completely, we’ll watch closely for any warning signs and step in before it happens.

Smart signal sharing really is great news if you love the web. Because we’re sharing our 3G signals you get fast, seamless internet more often. That means access to loads more of what you love, whether that’s tweeting, Facebooking, downloading the latest apps or streaming movies.

Keep talking in more places and fast internet in more places

We’ve made some more improvements so that you'll be able to keep talking in more places.

What this means is that if you move out signal whilst on a call and signal is available from the other network then the call automatically transfers you across to that signal and you'll be able to continue your call, and the best thing is, most of you won't even know you've switched signal.

You don't need to do anything at all to benefit from this, it happens automatically.

We’ve also launched 'fast internet in more places'. This means that not only can you call and text in even more places, you can also access the internet, social networks, download email and other services that use the internet in more places too. You can do this on your mobile, tablet or through mobile broadband on your laptop. You'll use signal from both Orange and T-Mobile and your normal charges still apply.
