Pascale Vicat-Blanc

Founder and CEO

Pascale Vicat-Blanc is founder and CEO of Lyatiss and brings more than 20 years of experience in networking and cloud computing technologies. Before founding Lyatiss, Vicat-Blanc was research director at INRIA (French National Institute for Research in Computer Science). Prior to this, she had a number of leadership roles including CIO of a Grid 5000 Data Center, team leader at INRIA-Bell Labs and project manager with CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research).

Pascale earned an MS and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Lyon.

Sebastien Soudan

Founder and CTO

Sebastien Soudan is founder and chief technical officer of Lyatiss, and brings his outstanding technical expertise in bandwidth sharing, network scheduling, optical networks, network economics and game theory. Prior to founding Lyatiss, Soudan graduated from l’Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 2005 and obtained his PhD in 2009 from l’Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon.

In 2009, Soudan won the Marconi “Young Scholars” Prize for his work on dynamic bandwidth provisioning.

Ankit Agarwal

VP of Product

Ankit Agarwal is vice president of Product. Prior to Lyatiss, he was associate vice president of Engineering at OPNET Technologies. Agarwal built and ran the product development teams for Sentinel (network and security compliance) and NetMapper (network diagramming and documentation). He helped build the products from the ground up and led the entire product development life cycle.

Agarwal is the co-inventor on a number of pending and issued patents. He received his Masters in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a dual focus on Computer Networking and Software Engineering and his BS from the University of Mumbai with a focus on Statistics.

Patrick Nicolas

VP of Engineering

Patrick Nicolas, vice president of Engineering, is a Silicon Valley veteran with deep software development experience related to cloud computing, big data and online application management. His track record includes 10 years in CTO and vice president of Engineering positions at startups and medium-sized technology companies like Zvents, BiggerBoat, Resonate, Diligent Software Systems and Ikonodyne. Nicolas built engineering departments for early stage startups across the U.S., Europe and Asia. He also is an agile-savvy engineer who implemented successfully scrum processes in his previous startup organizations.

Patrick earned an MS in Computer Science from Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse.
