IDEA: Northeastern’s Venture Accelerator (and the logo we designed for them) has been making headlines lately—most recently on MSNBC’s Your Business:
“Each week MSNBC’s Your Business features experts to share their secrets for improving your business. This week, there are quite a few educational opportunities available for current and future entrepreneurs, but one program in particular stands out. It’s a venture accelerator at Boston’s Northeastern University that’s run entirely by college students. The organization has the right idea when it comes to advising small business owners and getting them some funding to grow their companies.”
This is but one tribute to the great success that IDEA’s student members have achieved in the years since Hifinit Co-founder Alex Turnwall sat on the board as a founding Creative Officer. Since then, IDEA has helped to fund and support a number of small businesses that have roots in the Northeastern University community and is largely influential in the expanding entrepreneurial and creative mindset at the university.
Hifinit is currently working with IDEA team members and Northeastern’s new Center for Entrepreneurship Education on some new projects set to launch over the next few months, so we figured it was time to give them a shout out.
We’re extremely proud of where students have taken the organization and are honored to continue working with the University to make it the place to be for future innovators and entrepreneurs.
