LinkedIn is a popular social media platform for establishing business connections. In this workshop on LinkedIn, Leora Wenger will present how to set up a LinkedIn profile, how to connect with others, ways to meet others in your professional field or in your geographical area by using
groups, and how employers go about using LinkedIn to find potential employees. Whether you are a newcomer to LinkedIn or you have been on the platform for years, you are welcome to attend this workshop and share your questions and your experiences with the platform. There will be a formal presentation and an informal discussion period at the end.

Leora Wenger builds websites for small businesses, libraries and three
Rutgers University departments. She loves tweaking PHP, composing a
striking web design, stretching WordPress, and publicizing sites. In her
spare time she’s a mom, wife and daughter. Every now and then she
squeezes in the time to paint a watercolor or two.
