Harvie & Hudson - Goes live on csCommerce

Harvie and Hudson is a family owned shirtmaker based in Jermyn Street, famous for men’s tailoring. We are proud to have been selected to work with one of the oldest shirtmakers, famous for their quality and client service.
Harvie and Hudson looked at the quality of our work and felt that our csCommerce platform and design services would reflect the quality they are famous for.

Harvie and Hudson have a growing eCommerce business and required the facitilities to grow and manage their site in-house. They required a redesign to reflect quality, heritage and clear product placement, alongside a review of their site architecture and product categorisation to reduce clicks to the product detail page.

The new site is easy to navigate with clear and simple navigation. It utilises the flexible frame-work, including category landing pages and promotional content on list pages. The history, bespoke services and barbers sections promote all the additional services they offer. All of these areas can be expanded, added to with ease and all in-house, using content and site management tools that are unique to csCommerce.

The product detail pages really show the dynamic purchase option display. The user is only asked to select options that are relevant to that product, for example a product that has no options only the quantity needs to be selected, however, for the complex purchase of a shirt the user is presented with a buy grid showing collar size and sleeve length. csCommerce also allows you to add many custom alterations to a product, this has allowed Harvie and Hudson to offer sleeve length adjustment and the ability to add a monogram. The site really shows off the comprehensive promotional management capabilities of csCommerce not to mention the quick and easy enclosed checkout.

Products can be easily found with the csCommerce intelli search. The search centre allows Harvie and Hudson to record search terms and either add keywords to products, set up search redirects or custom landing pages for high performing search terms. The site also displays a comprehensive set of filters to allow for an easy to use guided navigation.

We are pleased to launch csCommerce mobile functionality with Harvie and Hudson as csCommerce allows you to set up mobile specific pages. By default csCommerce shows all the products reflecting all product categorisation, in an optimised mobile format. Making sure the service users get is tailored to the device they are using!
