Hailing from Lubbock Texas Lonesome Moses has some great sing-a-long lyrics that will mostly get you in trouble when they come bubbling out of your brain while shopping in the super market.  Whether it be the homage to porn star Sasha Grey (“la, la, la, la, I wanna fuck her”) or an ode to the girl that gave him VD (is it 1970?), with its chorus of “fuck you Carolina” these songs will get in your ear like a foul mouthed delightful little ear whig. Its not all curse words and porn stars though.  They are actually some pretty well thought out lyrics and simple americana delivery.  For me, songs like these are as much about what they choose not to do as what they do play.  They are stripped down songs that gets to the core of the tune.  Taking as much from Springsteen as from hometown hero Buddy Holly.  There is just enough going on to carry the tune with an often stark guitar that makes the songs unique.Take a listen to the songs below.  You will love them.
