Peanut Reading & Signing at BookCourt
Remember when Grandpa used to read the funny pages out loud to you? Well, that’s kind of what I’ll be doing at BookCourt.
Paul Hoppe will be showing slides to document the process of taking it from unillustrated script to finished graphic novel.
Young writers and readers especially encouraged to pepper us with questions, but all ages are welcome. It’s not like WE’RE getting any younger.
There may well be NutterButters (and peanut-free alternatives) for those in need of dinner.
RSVP on Facebook if so inclined.

Are you up for some Brooklyn Zine Fest Afterparty Comic-centric Chicago-style action?
Great, so am I!
The East Village Inky is but one of many Brooklyn Zine Fest tablers who will be staying on for Brain Frame, a fantastic event on loan from Chicago. Can’t say what I’ll be doing just yet, but it’s likely to involve a projector and some technology-induced jitters.
