Rennsport Reunion 2011 claims the world’s largest gathering of Porsche race cars and drivers. This year it was held for the first time on the West Coast at Laguna Seca raceway. Working with Canadian journalist Jeremy Sinek, I and Margot Duane sought to cover aspects of the event for a Canadian audience. At the same time I undertook to take a familiar street photography approach. Visually the event was visually rich and as always (for me), the audience is as interesting as the hugely valuable vehicles and legendary drivers. A gallery of such photos are here.
