Nicole… dang, you were right, you were right there at the dawn of Internet Radio, and the initial support from KKlearKhannel Online… which quickly turned into the cynical corporate takeover BY KKlearKhannel Online – which was of course how all my dedicated friends at Luxuriamusic.com found themselves without their labor of love in April of 2001 (until 2003). The worst part of what was done to Enigma Digital was, KKlearKhannel didn’t care about the people, the passion, the dedication, the ingenuity, none of it. All they cared about was the DRS software, which allowed them to cynically offer radio content by remote control with a minimum of human interaction.
KKlearKhannel Online got their comeuppance, of course, when the greedy RIAA began demanding absurd and usurious license fees for the performance of recorded music. My take on it has always been that they were skunked at their own game, and not even George W. Bush bothered to come to the rescue. Nyahh nyahh nyahh. Bottom line, goodbye KKlearKhannel Online, and with it, the dawn of several years of wilderness for internet radio – which thrived overseas without the smothering of American corporate greed.
Luxuriamusic.com is back as a seat of the torn, crumbling-pants operation, and I imagine there is a perverse irony that I am personally one of the people who logs in to its DRS in order to remotely schedule programming.

Ugh! If litlgrey was writing for cathartic reasons, then mission accomplished. If they were writing to be read by others who would react positively to the body of the message, then that failed to meet that goal on me. It just sounds like an irrational person writing gibberish as a result of sleep deprivation.
