Ramen Empire

Word monkey would like to know where all of the insane liberals are. The Tea Party channels across every social media they’ve infected are literally stuffed full of threats against democrats and especially against President Obama. Right wing channels in general seem devoted to racism and bigotry–I keep seeing crap like HAM–heterosexual awareness month–and evangelical mouthpieces ranting about getting our nation back to the Christian roots that, frankly, it never had.

Art Monkey has previously forbidden me to do political comics. Forbidden. And then he heard about the sequester and read about what it actually does, and why it happened–and instead of the comic he’s been planning, he sent me the images above and told me to go nuts. I don’t think violence is really an answer, at all. But if the next lunatic with a gun went ape-shit in congress instead of a kindergarten classroom, I think that congress would quickly remember that the crap they pull has an effect outside of their little world, and that the space they occupy isn’t, shall we say, sequestered from the rest of us.
