Scribus is an Open Source Desktop Publishing software much like Microsoft Publisher. It opens a variety of files including Adobe Illustrator, PDF and other scalable vector graphics formats. The layout is functional with a comprehensive menu at the top and quick buttons underneath. The buttons signal what they are used for but the hover hint confirms what the use.
