"ich danketsu" is a megapeng compilation for japan earthquake and tsunami relief (and the best music ever)!

after nearly 2 months and no headlines in the news... the catastrophe isn't over!!!

we at megapeng were very shocked what happened in japan on march 11 and the days after, since we have strong friendships there and always loved japanese crazyness.
we are based in berlin actually, so we were also shocked how many german people started to care about their own asses quite fast. the biggest discussion here was "what if this would happen to us?" (power plant catastrophes) instead of "how can we help those people who lost nearly everything, their lives, their homes, their families and friends?... LIKE NOW!!!"

ich danketsu means solidarity... and this is what we want. it doesn't matter WHERE such things happen. people are people and people need help. and since we can't help physically, we want to support the teams doing the field works and the hundreds of thousand people in the shelters with money.

inspired by many other compilations we decided to do one ourselves. we asked the bands we loved and partly featured over the years and the bands you find on this compilation are the ones who joined us.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN SO QUICKLY!!! YOU ARE ALL AWESOME AND WE LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!

we really didn't expected it to be SUCH A GOOD COMPILATION!! BUT IT TOTALLY IS!!!
we are ridiculous proud of it and we hope you will like it, too!!!

we decided to make a free download and really really hope that people will USE THE DONATION BUTTON!! so everyone can decided themselves if and how much they wan't/can donate. so it's not excluding poor ppl, but allows others (with an income) to give more.
through this way we make also sure that all this money will go right away to the help organisations (you can choose yourself!) and we don't need to touch it.

Nous avons décidé de faire un téléchargement gratuit en espérant que les gens UTILISERONT LE BOUTON DE DONATION!! Donc chacun peut décider combien il veut donner.
Ainsi, tous 100% des dons iront de suite aux organisations d'aide (vous pouvez les choisir!)

Toutes les personnes qui ont participées , artistes y comprit , ont tous contribué au projet gratuitement . (chansons, le graphisme, la promotion, le mélange, etc...)

Presque 2 mois et aucun titre dans les nouvelles à propos du Japon ... la catastrophe n'est pas finie !!! AIDEZ les s'il vous plaît !!!

"ich danketsu" bedeutet "solidarität"...

und das wollen wir hiermit einfordern. für die vielen hunderttausend menschen, die durch die katastrophe am 11. märz in japan ihren halt, ihre häuser und ihre freunde/familie verloren haben.

wir finden es ganz besonders schlimm, daß sich die diskussion in deutschland nur darum dreht, wie "wir" unsere eigenen ärsche zukünftig retten können und eben nicht, wie man den menschen dort JETZT helfen kann.
deswegen haben wir diese compilation initiiert, um ein statement zu setzen und natürlich auch um geld zu sammeln, um die helferInnen-teams vor ort und die hunderttausende menschen in den notunterkünften wenigstens finanziell zu unterstützen.
inspiriert durch andere compilations haben wir uns auch kurzfristig entschlossen, auch eine auf megapeng zu veröffentlichen.
wir haben bands eingeladen, die wir lieben und teils schon seit jahren featuren.
wir haben nicht erwartet, daß die compilation SO MEGA GUT wird, aber sie ist es!!!
wir sind lächerlich stolz auf das endprodukt und hoffen, daß es euch auch so gut gefällt!!!

wir haben uns entschieden, die compilation als gratis download anzubieten, um auch weniger gut betuchten leuten die möglichkeit zu geben, sich die musik runterzuladen. während menschen mit geld zur verfügung sehr gebeten werden, den spenden button zu nutzen. dort kann man aus 7 verschiedenen hilfsprojekten auswählen und das geld direkt dorthin spenden. (die projekte wurden vom anbieter automatisch so angeordnet und sind nicht wertend arrangiert).

"Ich danketsu" è la compilation Megapeng in favore delle vittime del terremoto e dello tsunami che ha colpito il Giappone (ed è la compilation con la miglior musica di sempre!)

Dopo quasi 2 mesi e nessuna notizia rilevante... la catastrofe non è ancora finita!!!
Noi alla Megapeng siamo stati davvero scioccati per quello che è successo in Giappone l'11 marzo e nei giorni seguenti, dato che abbiamo delle grandi amicizie lì e abbiamo sempre amato la cultura e la "follia" giapponese.
Come possiamo aiutare queste persone che hanno perso quasi tutto? Le loro vite, le loro case, le loro famiglie e amici... proprio ora? Ich danketsu significa "solidarietà"... e questo è ciò che vogliamo. Non importa DOVE sia successo. Le persone sono persone e le persone hanno bisogno di aiuto e siccome non possiamo aiutarle fisicamente, dobbiamo supportare con i soldi i gruppi che stanno lavorando sul posto e le centinaia di migliaia di persone nei rifugi.
Ispirati da molte altre compilation abbiamo deciso di farne una nostra. Abbiamo chiesto alle band che amiamo e con con cui abbiamo collaborato negli anni e quelle che troverete nella compilation sono quelle che hanno accettato!
GRAZIE A TUTTI QUELLI CHE HANNO PERMESSO DI FARE TUTTO VELOCEMENTE! SIETE TUTTI FANTASTICI E VI AMEREMO PER SEMPRE!
Non ci aspettavamo davvero che potesse essere una compilation così buona!
MA LO E', ASSOLUTAMENTE!!!
Siamo così assurdamente fieri di essa e speriamo che piaccia anche a voi!
Abbiamo deciso di mettere il download gratuito e speriamo davvero davvero tanto che la gente userà il bottone delle donazioni!! Così ognuno potrà decidere da solo se e quanto vuole/può donare! Così non verranno escluse le persone povere, ma permetterà agli altri (con più soldi) di dare di più!
In questo modo noi saremo anche sicuri che tuti i soldi andranno solo alle organizzazioni benefiche (che potrete scegliere da soli!) e non ci sarà motivo di maneggiarli noi.
