Maybe I’ll post some better photos later when the Sun is out, but my first impression of these CMYK playing cards is that they look great! Good playing card stock (although you sort of need to break them in a bit) and fantastic printing all around. These aren’t from the USPCC, but hey, they’re up there in terms of quality.

I don’t know much about the history behind this deck, but based on pure looks alone, I think this is definitely one of my favorite playing card back designs. It’s a little bit like an optical illusion. These are available now in green and tan for $5.95 each (or $3.99 if you’re a Conjuring Arts Research Center member).

This is all sorts of incredible. If I didn’t already get myself locked into something else or if I wanted to try something completely new from scratch, this brand-new $299/year Business tier from WordPress.com sounds amazing. Using a series of spring-like cushions in between the outer shell and the inner foam head barrier, this new 6D helmet is supposedly supposed to reduce concussions in an accident by allowing your head to move just the tiny extra bit to presumably allow your brain to not get whacked around inside the skull. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, watch the video.

Whoa. Take a look at this super unique vehicle (bus?) mod from Blastolene called the Decoliner. It’s essentially a drivable sculpture (says its creator Randy Grubb). Definitely one the coolest looking vehicles on any road.
