The original CF Card Reader for iPad was first introduced by M.I.C Gadget exclusively for DSLR camera users. It was featured by many top Photography and Tech sites such as RobGalbraith, PhotographyBlog, Engadget, Gizmodo, Wired, SlashGear, Photojojo etc.

We have now improved the card reader to support iOS 5.1 on The New iPad. It also comes with both SD and CF Card slots packed within its familiarly slim profile - two key functions for the price of one!

The new Card Reader has been tweaked to be able to overcome the Voltage Limit set by the iPad and hence supports even 600X CF Cards and Class 10 / UHS-I SD Cards. We have tested the Card Reader with SanDisk Extreme Pro CF and SD Cards with no issues - without any external power required.

However, we are aware that there are many other memory card brands in the market and around the world. Some of them might have power requirements beyond what the iPad can provide even without the Voltage Limit. The new Card Reader has an added power input port that can be optionally used for the extra juice these cards need to work.
