You may know Britt Daniel as the singer/guitarist for Spoon. Drake Tungsten was the name for Britt's solo recording project, starting with a tape of 4-tracked songs in 1994. The following year Drake Tungsten appeared on the Peek-A-Boo Bicycle Rodeo compilation LP and recorded the five-song Six Pence for the Sauces EP for Peek-A-Boo Records. Shortly thereafter, Britt ditched the pseudonymn and currently plays solo under his own name.
