Questions Men are too Scared to Ask

They’re supposed to hold you close during scary movies and protect you when you hear a funny noise in the middle of the night; men are born protectors. There’s nothing men are afraid of (except your dad…and his gun collection) so why are they too scared to ask women a few simple questions? The answer is that they are more than scared to ask. They are terrified. A giant spider, a snake on the driveway and a flat tire won’t scare him, but a few simple sentences are enough to make him want his mommy. Read on to find out what questions are too terrifying for men to ask.

Why Do Women Have so Many Shoes?

He has approximately three pair: Dress shoes, flip-flops and tennis shoes. Your closet, on the other hand, terrifies him. The fact that you’ve been together for three years and he’s never seen you wear the same pair of shoes twice is something that makes him so nervous and terrified he’s afraid to even think about it. Why? Even men don’t have an answer to this; they just know that the thought of your shoes terrifies him.

Must You Talk to Your Friends About…Our Sex Life?

Many women think men spend their time talking about their sex lives to their friends. In fact, they really don’t. The truth is, many men have no problem dishing on a particularly inventive move or a one-night stand, but they aren’t doing much talking about the woman they love, because in their minds it’s private. Women, on the other hand, have no problem telling their friends the intimate details of your sex life, and men are too scared to ask you to stop.

Why so Many Vampires?

Women love them and men don’t get it. Actually, I’m not sure most women even understand it, but once we see the sexy blue eyes of Damon Salvatore or the manly bodies on True Blood, we just don’t care to figure it out. Men, however, are completely perplexed by our interest in blood sucking dead guys. They’d ask but the last time they cracked a joke about being on Team Edward, we didn’t speak to them for a week.

Why Are You so Calm With Everyone Else and so Short With Me?

Your mother-in-law makes you want to rip your hair out, but when she’s not-so-subtly telling you what a horrible choice her son made, or criticizing your short hemline or the way you parent her grandchildren you stand there and smile, acting as if though nothing is wrong. The minute you get in the car to go home, however, you lay it on your guy how much you hate his evil mother and that you never want to see her again. While he nods in agreement and swears (like a liar) that he’ll talk to her about it, what he really wants to know is how come you stood there and took it from his mom and he has to stand there and take it from you?
