Rihanna Gets Stoned With Terry Richardson

The always gorgeous, yet always rebellious, Rihanna was recently shot by Terry Richardson for Rolling Stone. Today he released a few behind the scenes photos where Rhi Rhi gets stoned, permed and primped. The 24-year-old revealed a lot to Rolling Stone about her turbulent relationship with Chris Brown. It’s always an interesting subject, even if it is, “Nobodies Business.”  She said, “I decided it was more important for me to be happy. I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of [my happiness]. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.” Rihanna isn’t wrong either. She’s exercising independence and autonomy in a world, Hollywood, that doesn’t allow that kind of freedom without torment or backlash.

It’s not that I support their relationship, because I don’t, but if Rhi is the victim here, you have to support her. She’s doing what she wants, knowing that it could be horrible. I mean, how many people have you dated that were totally wrong for you  just because you had to see how things would play out? Although behaving violently is a big difference than just being a jerk, Rhi had more to say on that, “He doesn’t have the luxury of f–king up again. That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”

She’s right, when everyone’s watching, when everyone knows you’re a woman-beater, when everyone is waiting for you to f–k up, you do have more reason not to. Yet, Chris hasn’t stopped the violent behavior since the incident.
