This Texas girl has moderate success with her debut single ‘Ex Old Man.’ While some criticized that song of being too cliche’, Kelly has gone a different route on this one. I heard her sing this one at the Grand Ole Opry in October and there’s no doubt she has some pipes. Does she have what it takes to win? You decide.

When you see an artists influences listed as Grand Ole Opry veterans like Vince Gill and Marty Stuart, you really know what to expect. That is, until you see that the influences also include ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith. Charlie Worsham blends those things into his songwriting and performing and what you get is his debut single that sounds like something that could have been on a Steve Wariner or Restless Heart Album in the early 90′s.
