Brown Building Theatre
The Brown Building Theatre –beautifully renovated and reopened in January 2008– seats up to 150 people in an intimate and flexible performance space. The Brown Building Theatre is also the “home” of UNCG Theatre Student Workshops every Monday at 4 pm (students gather to participate and view student produced short scenes and one acts). This space was formerly known as the Hart Recital Hall, and it is located on the first floor of the Brown Building, 402 Tate Street. The Brown Building Theatre is handicapped accessible. All performances in Brown Building Theatre are general admission. Venue has 150 Seats.
Parking
Behind Weatherspoon Art Gallery for Weekend and Evening shows. For weekday and daytime shows, people can park off of Tate Street and surrounding streets.
Directions
The Brown Building is located on Tate Street. It is two buildings down from Aycock Auditorium, which is on the Corner of Spring Garden Street and Tate Street.
