We at Man Recordings have been a long time fan and supporter of Canadian badboy and producer extraordinaire, Poirier. Now we are proud to release his Alert Riddim EP – Poirier´ debut on Man Rec.

For the slick and bouncy Alert Riddim, Poirier put together a top notch MC casting. The opening track comes from no other than Jamaican bashment queen Natalie “Hotalie” Storm, who delivers the anthemic “Gal U Good” on Poirier´s riddim, destined to shake a multitude of big speakered clubs. Global player MC Zulu brings great vocal licks with his “Call Red Alert”. And last but not least it´s Montréal´s Face T (who already sung on Poirier tracks « Blazin » and « Wah-La-La-Leng ») who rounds up the Alert Riddim love with “The Realness”.

Canadian tropical-bass producer Poirier will drop a new EP for Man Rec next week. The four-song dancehall record titled Alert Riddim features three artists to vocalize over his slick and bouncy riddim. First, Natalie Storm delivers “Gal U Good,” which is followed by MC Zulu’s “Call Red Alert.” The EP’s final vocalist is Face-T, a frequent Poirier collaborator, who rounds out Alert Riddim with “The Realness.” The original instrumental version of “Alert Riddim” is also included on the EP.
