Anika covers Chromatics' 'In The City'

German-English singer-songwriter Anika , born Annika Henderson, may be relatively unknown, but her voice has character all its own. Henderson, who also worked as a journalist between Berlin and Bristol, was discovered several years back by Portishead member and producer Geoff Barrow , who enlisted her in his Beak> side-project. Her Kim Gordon -esque vocals are meant to sound distant and human, aching for more, as it does on her cover of the Chromatics Kill For Love cut 'In The City'.
