Yasunori MITSUDA

Né le 21 janvier 1972 à Tokuyama au Japon, Yasunori Mitsuda est l'une des étoiles de la musique de jeu vidéo japonaise. Après avoir fait ses marques chez Square sur des projets aussi prestigieux que Chrono Trigger et Xenogears, il a fondé son propre studio, Procyon, en 2001. Depuis, il a travaillé sur de nombreux jeux vidéo ainsi que des séries animées telles qu'Inazuma Eleven. Sa musique est régulièrement jouée lors de concerts symphoniques à travers le monde.

Conçu par le créateur de Kirby, Masahiro Sakurai, Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS) est la suite tant attendue du classique sorti en 1986 sur GameBoy.

Les musiques ont été écrites par une véritable équipe de rêve, formée de quelques-uns des compositeurs japonais de jeu vidéo les plus célèbres : Motoi Sakuraba (Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile), Yûzô Koshiro (Actraiser, Shenmue), Masafumi Takada (Killer 7, No More Heroes), Noriyuki Iwadare (Grandia, Phoenix Wright), Takahiro Nishi (Super Smash Bros. Brawl) et Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger/Cross, Xenogears, Xenosaga). Les fans retrouveront même des reprises des musiques de Hirokazu Tanaka pour l'épisode original. Le tout a été orchestré avec un immense soin par Natsumi Kameoka (Inazuma Eleven) et Yasunori Mitsuda lui-même.

La bande originale de Kid Icarus: Uprising regroupe 71 pistes d'excellente qualité sur trois disques, dans un superbe boîtier digipak conçu et édité à l'origine par Sleigh Bells, le label de Yasunori Mitsuda.
