KEVIN DAHLE – born Jan. 24, 1960, Forest City, IA; home Northfield; Education: University of Northern Iowa, B.A. Social Sciences 1982; University of St. Mary’s, Winona, M.A. Education 2004;  wife Beth; three children (Kalista, Greenlee, and Griffith).

Experience: I have taught Civics, Economics, Political Science, A.P. Government and Social Psychology for 29 years. Semi-finalist for Minnesota Teacher of the Year in 2012, Served as President of the Northfield Education Association (for 10 years), member and volunteer for several civic organizations in Northfield, member of the United Methodist Church,  active in several campaigns at local, state, and national level.

Elected and served 3 years in the Minnesota Senate 2008 -2010 for District 25; Served on the following Committees: E-12 Education Policy & Finance, Commerce & Consumer Protection, Education, Energy, Utilities, & Communication.

Re-elected to a 4 year term in the Minnesota Senate beginning in 2012 for the new Senate District 20; Serving on the following committees:  Vice-chair E-12 Education Policy Committee, Education Finance, Commerce, and State and Local Government committees
