The Play Prague 2010 Music Conference and Concert was from Tuesday, September 21 to Sunday, September 26 in Prague, Czech Republic. The 6 day event featured seminars/ workshops by music industry professionals, artist / band performances and talent opportunities. Integral to the mission of the evetn is to give major exposure to "undiscovered" recording artists, bands, singers and songwriters, and in keeping with this mission, record label and music industry professionals in Prague and nearby major European cities attended as guests of the event.
VIP music industry executives, producers and and artists who participated in "Play Prague" included Rich Adler (Grammy award winning producer/engineer), Kimberley Dahme (first female member of rock group Boston), Stan Webb (hit country music singer/songwriter), Suzahn Fiering (Jazz diva), Sir Waldo Weathers (member of the James Brown Band for 15 years), Evert Wilbrink (Nashville and Europe record label executive) and Dan Wunsch (former owner/editor of Nashville Music Guide and currently signed for literary representation with the Robb Company in LA). The highlight of the conference was the final night concert on Saturday, September 25, which was podcast live on the internet.
The concert featured Stan Webb, an award winning country music singer-songwriter, and Kimberley Dahme, a member of the legendary rock band Boston and also a accomplished solo recording artist in her own right. Both artists were backed up by a band of Czech musicians with Jan Honza Prucha on lead guitar. Opening for the headliners were music artists / songwriters chosen by music industry professionals from the performances / showcases on September 22, 23 and 24. Also the winners of the song collaboration competition performed.
The final concert closed with the children's song, "Let Us Play In Peace In Our World," expressing the universal hope of children around the world that one day they will not be the innocent vicitms of war. To end the song, artists from different countries sang the title in their native language representing the children of their country. To play the chorus of the song, click on "song" above.
Events took take place in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, at the following locations: Club Na Slamniku, Pub Na Slamniku, Club Vagon and nearby Czech beer gardens.

PLAY PRAGUE 2011 is from Thursday September 29, 2011 thru Saturday, Oct. 1 2011. Artist
Performances will take place at Club Na Slamniku on Thurdsay and Friday, seminars at Pub Na Slamniku on Saturday and
the final concert at Club Vagon. Like PLAY PRAGUE 2010, the final concert will be podcast live over the internet, showcase the featured
artists backed up by czech musicians and feature performances by the song collaboration winners and the best of the conference
artists chosen by industry professionals. The closing song will be the children's song, "Let Us Play In Peace In Our World.
