Benchmark Development Program
Our driving purpose is to create benchmarks that are universally used and respected by consumers, reviewers and the industry, and we have been doing exactly that since 1997.

The Benchmark Development Program (BDP) is a Futuremark initiative for building partnerships with hardware and technology manufacturers. The objective of the BDP is to create relevant and impartial benchmarks by working in close co-operation with program members. We provide members with specifications and regular development builds of new benchmarks then evaluate member feedback to improve the software. This open process of co-operation with all members produces benchmarks that reliably provide consistent, vendor-neutral results to the benefit of both industry and consumers.
Benchmark Development Programs are open to established hardware and software companies that have significant market share and company values that are complementary to the objectives of the program. To apply, or request further information, please call Oliver Baltuch on +1-408-517-9020 (PST) or email bdp@futuremark.com.
Currently in development, our new 3DMark is the world's first unified graphics benchmark for testing DirectX 9, DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 capable hardware through the DirectX 11 API.
Companies in this program help us create industry standard graphical performance benchmark tests for the Android platform.
The PCMark BDP develops world class PC benchmarking software based on relevant user scenarios and component tests for measuring processor, memory and storage performance.
