What is Anime USA?

In 1999 AnimeUSA began as a northern Virginia convention started by fans, and in 2004 become a non-profit educational organization. Our mission is to educate the public about and promote Japanese arts and popular culture. As in the beginning, we remain a convention of fans, by fans, and for fans.

Anime USA Announces Troy Baker

We are pleased to announce our second guest voice actor for Anime USA 2013, Troy Baker! You may recognize him as Booker DeWitt in the upcoming game, BioShock Infinite. Troy has also been featured in Full Metal Alchemist, Catherine, Persona 4, Sengoku Basara, Naruto Shippuden, Basilisk, Batman: Arkham Asylum and many more!

Kari Wahlgren Coming to AUSA 2013!

We are pleased to announce our first guest voice actor for AUSA 2013, Kari Wahlgren! You may remember her as the Vespa-riding, guitar-bashing Haruko in “FLCL.”  She also played many notable roles, such as Celty in Durarara, Kagami in Lucky Star, Saya and Diva in Blood+, Robin in Witch Hunter Robin, Fuu in Samurai Champloo, Tsuruya in “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”, Cher in Wolf’s Rain, Lavie in Last Exile, and Tayuya in Naruto.
