Master CFI

Welcome!
The purpose of this online newsletter is to promote safe flying with emphasis on regional differences in flying risk factors.

Night accidents account for over 50% of all fatal accidents in the immediate S.F. Bay area, which is 2.5 times the national rate.  VFR into IMC is involved with one third of all fatal accidents in the S.F. Bay which is six times the national rate! Click on the links above to learn more about avoiding these killers.

You can subscribe or unsubscribe from a monthly email notification that's sent out when each newsletter is available online.

spacer This site is produced by, Max Trescott, Master CFI.

If you are interested in learning to fly or need advanced pilot training in Palo Alto or San Jose, California, give me a call to talk about your goals.

Why fly with me?  Because I have more than 30 years of flying experience, and I won't be leaving you in the middle of your training to take a job with the airlines. You'll also get the best possible instruction from one of the very few Master CFI's in the area. As an FAA Aviation Safety Counselor, I often give presentations on safety, and all of my flight instructions includes a strong emphasis on safety. I can also help you choose a flight club from which to rent planes that best meets your needs.
