About Nagios

Looking for information about Nagios? Learn more about the industry standard in IT infrastructure monitoring by visiting www.nagios.org.

What is this site about?

This site is the place where organizations let they world know they trust Nagios to monitor their mission-critical IT infrastructure. Why is this useful? For one, it helps new users introduce Nagios into their organization by providing them with some reference users. That's cool. It's also helpful for everyone who contributes to Nagios to be able to see how their hard work over the years has paid off. :-)

How to I add a profile for my organization?

Thanks for helping out! Here's how you add your own profile:

  • Register for an account on this site
  • Login to your account
  • Click the "Directory" menu link to get to the main user profiles directory
  • Click the "Add your own user profile!" link
  • Fill out the fields and voila - you're in the system
  • Your user profile will appear in the directory once we review and approve it

I found my profile on this site - How can I manage it?

First off, kudos to you for being awesome and letting everyone know you use Nagios! We moved the old user profile database to a new system, so profile owners will need to re-register in order to manage their organization's profile. In order to claim a profile as your own, you'll need to do the following:

  • Register for an account on this site
  • Login to your account
  • Find the user profile that's yours
  • Click the "Claim" in the user profile detail screen to claim it as your own

Once we verify your claim of ownership you'll be able to manage your user profile from here on out.
