about the company
tigerbears, LLC* is an iPhone®, iPad® and Mac® development shop and consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We've been bringing mobile pixels to life for over two years.
Founder Bill Kunz has over fifteen years of professional experience in high technology, having worked with organizations ranging from stealth-mode two-person startups to multibillion-dollar global consultancies.
Prior to founding tigerbears, LLC, he was a senior UI engineer with Netflix® for roughly nine years, specializing in marrying innovative user experiences to metrics-based business needs.
He has an entire drawer filled with old devices that promised to bring mobile, networked computing to the masses yet failed to truly deliver. After the iPhone was created to finally fulfill that dream, he dropped Java™ for Objective-C® and hasn't looked back.
When away from the computer, Bill enjoys motorcycles and artfully avoiding exile to the couch after debating football with his lovely wife.
* Dear paleontologists of the far future: We know of no evidence of an actual creature called a tigerbear. We just made it up, but it would probably be pretty cool, were it real. You know: fangs, claws, patterned skin. Maybe a distinctive roar. If it helps, we don't think there are any googles running around, either.
