Welcome
spacer

Welcome, fellow Zelda follower, to a fan-based site created by people who share your love and dedication for the most beautiful virtual universe ever created for a series of computer games, the world of Zelda. It's certainly not a trivial fact after all, that this is one of the very few computer games (counted by the fingers of one hand actually) that not only survived two decades of exhausting market competition and technology breakthroughs but also managed to evolve, both literally and metaphorically. Every aspect of this masterpiece was carefully developed, the graphics, sound and control are getting better with every upcoming title and the beautifully written story still succeeds in taking our breaths away. This is the Legend of Zelda, and it's yours to share and enjoy.

We are extremely proud to announce that for the first time there is a site completely dedicated to something that, for the most of us, is not just a game but more of an ongoing childhood memory. Zeldaforums will be here to enhance your experience in the world of the games produced so far and those still to come with its forums, where thousands of users share their experiences and thoughts on the games and offer tips and help when needed, presentations of all the chapters in the story from the beginning in The Legend of Zelda to The Phantom Hourglass and many, many more services like relevant multimedia (MP3's, soundtracks, wallpapers, fonts, etc), ringtones, links about this and other relational games and everything else you could imagine.

There is no ending to the discussions that could potentially emerge from a storyline like that of the Zelda games and the revolutionary design of an environment created specifically to change every time you visit it with a character every time a little more advanced. Dungeons, forests, villages, quests and tasks, everything is beautifully put to create a magnificent pattern you will only meet in this gorgeous setting. So come aboard and share your insights and thoughts about the game that defined the term of electronic entertainment for people all around the world, including us and hopefully you, that's the only thing you will be asked for in this virtual community. Join Zelda, Link and the rest of the characters in Hyrule, the land is in perish, a hero is needed, grab your sword and shield and defend the princess!

Phantom Hourglass Release Date Confirmed

April 13th, 2007 by Mak

Japanese magzine Famitsu has confirmed the release date for The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for The Nintendo DS to be the 23rd of June this year. No other release dates for the game have been confirmed for the US or Europe, however some are speculating that the game could appear in America as early as October. It still looks likely that European fans will either have to wait until possibly Christmas this year, early 2008, or get an import of the game once it hits the US.

A Zelda Nut’s Dream Wii

March 19th, 2007 by Mak

If you’re crazy about Zelda, then check this eBay auction. What’s being sold is a Wii that’s case has been modded incredibaly well. The Master Sword/Shield, the black/gold colours and the triforce icons all fit the Zelda theme fantastically and really gives that Wii an amazing look. Feel free to bid on it if you really, urgently want it - although the bid, last time I checked, was currently at $1,255, so be prepared to fork out a lot for it to garuntee your ownership.
In other news, ever since the server move a while ago, the performane of the site has been improved notably, with the site loading a lot faster and with no more server lag. I should also note that some old news posts have been removed to clean up the spam posts.

Twilight Princess & Gamespot’s Reader’s Choice Awards

January 28th, 2007 by Mak

As you may know, visitors of the Gamespot website are able to vote in this annual event to determine the best and worst games of 2006.
Twilight Princess, surprise surprise, did staggeringly well.
Winning the Best Action-Adventure Game, Best Gamecube Game and Best Wii Game awards, plus coming second in the top 20 games of the year (hats off the Gears of War, which came first), Twilight Princess overall did extremely well.

Ocarina of Time heading for Nintendo Wii

January 28th, 2007 by Josh

Nintendo of Japan have stated a February 2007 release of Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console, this is only in Japan however no American or European release dates have been confirmed.

Nintendo of Japan’s Wii Virtual Console page states that a Zelda game for Nintendo 64 will cost 1,200 Wii Points. We can presume this is most likely Ocarina of Time because it was considerably more popular than Majora’s Mask.

620 Twilight Princess Screenshots

January 28th, 2007 by Josh

spacer GCTonyHawk7 has managed to play through Twilight Princess using a capture card, then afterwards extracting 620 Twilight Princess screenshots.

They are all of fairly high quality and have been uploaded to GCTonyHawk7’s Google Picasa gallery. The gallery has been split into two albums, one for the first half of the game and one for the second half - so it’s pretty good if your looking for something specific.

A big thanks goes to GCTonyHawk7 for these Twilight Princess screenshots, and 5 Rupees for pointing them out to us!

A New Zelda in the Works?

December 14th, 2006 by Mak

According to a report issued by the latest issue of Game Informer, a new Zelda game has been in development for a year, and could be out sooner then we think.
There is no other information about the game available, and although the game is very unlikely to be released in the same year as Twilight Princess, the magazine hints ‘don’t be surprised if this game comes up sooner than you think.’
Oh, and the magazine also reports that Phantom Hourglass has been delayed right until October 2007. While this hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s definately very disappointing if it’s true.

The Best Timeline Theory Yet?

December 4th, 2006 by Mak

I recently found a video on YouTube from Gametrailers. I might take a couple of watches to completely get your head around it, but it clearly explains and orders all of the Zelda titles (bar Twilight Princess) in one of the best timeline theories yet.

The video is located here: youtube.com/watch?v=uaCEd4nwUP0

Master Sword Forged!

November 28th, 2006 by Mak

What’s the biggest fan thing you’ve ever done for Zelda? One chap named Paul Hantschel has revealed that he owns a real-life replica of the Master Sword. Paul did a deal with blacksmith Rob Miller of Castle Keep in Scotland, and in a $3,300 deal and 10-month wait, Rob forged the Master Sword itself. Check the link out below for more details, plus some pictures of the sword.
