Pretty fabulous stuff. From HuffPo: “After being invited to read a children’s book to a New Jersey after-school kids program – and then disinvited for being an ‘inappropriate’ choice – Martha Graham Cracker was warmly received by Philadelphia’s Christ Church Neighborhood House on Sunday. The Philadelphia drag cabaret legend read Dr. Seuss’s classic Green Eggs and Ham in front of an enthusiastic and appreciative crowd of children. NBC10 Philadelphia spoke with Deborah Block, a parent who was at Sunday’s performance. ‘It’s a wonderful way of honoring Dr. Seuss. Martha Graham Cracker is the embodiment of the Dr. Seuss “wonder of the world.” It’s beautiful.’”
