Ashley Tisdale drags costar Matt Barr onto the dance floor in this new still from Hellcats.

In the upcoming episode “Beale St. After Dark,” Savannah (Tisdale) is nervous about her first date with Dan (Barr) so Marti (Aly Michalka), Lewis (Robbie Jones) and the rest of the Hellcats team accompany her on their date which ends in disaster.

Meanwhile, Marti tries to impress her law professor Julian (Gale Harold) in the hopes of joining his legal team but he doubts she can balance both her studies and cheerleading.

Desperate to get her spot back, Alice (Heather Hemmens) turns to pills to kill the pain so she can get medically approved to re-join the team.

“Beale St. After Dark” premieres NEXT Wednesday, September 22 @ 9PM ET/PT on the CW.

Ashley Tisdale leans back in her chair as she chats about her new CW series, Hellcats, on the PIX Morning Show in NYC on Wednesday morning (September 8).

The 25-year-old actress caught up with US Weekly mag about loving food. She shared, “The guys [on set] are like, ‘You eat more than we do!’ It’s kind of crazy. I eat food for the energy, and obviously I have to eat a lot because I’m burning so much.”

Ashley dished on her fitness routine which features kickboxing and lifting weights during one-hour sessions, six days per week. “It’s great for cardio. It’s great for your abs and your whole body. Weight training is great for toning up and leaning up without bulking up. But the kickboxing is really amazing because it just works everything at once,” Ash shared.

The blue and black team performed special cheers for the girls in honor of Hellcats at the party thrown by Seventeen mag.

Ashley, 25, told the mag in their October 2010 issue, “I definitely think cheerleaders have no fear. When I took the Hellcats job I was like whoa, this is a sport. Cheerleaders deserve a lot of respect for what they do.”

The 25-year-old actress, wearing a Camille K necklace, chatted with Jimmy about her new show and growing up in such close proximity to other celebs.

Ashley shared about her new home, “It’s a green home, so it’s solar-paneled. We recycled everything when we tore the old home down. So the windows and doors went to Habitat for Humanity. It took six months to tear it down and another six months to get permits. In my mind, I thought it was only going to take like three. So, I kind of fired my dad about twenty times before he got it done (laughs).”

Aly, 21, told our friends over at TVGuide about the show, “It’s not about cheerleaders looking sexy and shaking pom-poms all the time. It’s about the competitive aspect, how dangerous it is and the fact that these girls are counting on each other to bring it when they’re out there on the field.”

Hellcats, also starring Robbie Jones, Heather Hemmens and Matt Barr, premieres TONIGHT @ 9PM ET/PT on the CW.

Ashley Tisdale and Blake Lively give in to a little girl talk before they head in to the Lincoln Center in NYC to attend Fashion’s Night Out: The Show on Tuesday evening (September 7).

The 25-year-old actress tweeted afterwards, “Had so much fun at Fashion Night Out, it was my first fashion show. A-MAZ-ING!”

Ashley told Seventeen magazine about the important of friends and cited BFF Vanessa Hudgens as one of her greatest. She shared, “Vanessa is just such a great friend. Like recently, we were at a premiere and I saw a reality star who I thought was really cool. I’d watched her show; so I was excited. But she wasn’t nice to me when I met her. All I really wanted to do was take a picture. So Vanessa stood up for me — she confronted her and was like, ‘Hey, Ashley’s actually a really big fan.’ She is one of those girlfriends who has your back. I love that about her.”

The mag threw a private party for the girls to celebrate their cover at Hearst Tower in NYC on Tuesday afternoon (September 7th). Aly and Ashley were surprised by the New Rochelle High school cheerleaders who performed special cheers for
them in honor of Hellcats.

Inside the issue, the girls opened up about their love lives and what they really look for in a guy.

Ashley (wearing MINKPINK’s Crochet Smochet Cami) shared, “In high school, it was all about popularity, being with the boyfriend and all the girls thinking he’s cute. Now, I am more into a guys personality. I like someone I can have fun with and who can be more laid-back than I am, because it calms me down. At the same time, I want to be with someone who wants to work as much as I do and who respects me like I respect him.”

Aly added, “I’m not [dating] – I wish. I’m so ready to have boyfriend. I just need to find that guy who’s worthy of committing myself to, because I’m not your average girl. And I think a lot of guys are intimidated by girls who know what they want. I still live at home when I am in L.A., I’m really close to my family, I have a busy life and I’m super-close to my sister – so basically if you date me, you date her. And he’s either into it or he’s not.”
