What is Anywhere is Somewhere?  More than anything, it’s an idea.  It’s the idea that beauty and joy are found throughout our world.  We don’t have to travel far to take that amazing picture, to have an adventure, or to enjoy life.

Anywhere is Somewhere is blog/photoblog based on the simple premise that there are places worth exploring right under our nose.  These places are not featured in glossy travel magazines, nor are they found in your Sunday paper.  Rather, they are places that are forgotten in our constant search for something new and exotic.  These places can be wide spots in the road, small hamlets and villages in the middle of nowhere.  But they can also be in the middle of some of biggest tourist centers in the world, in the middle of the hustle and bustle that characterizes those places.  In these tourist centers, if you can stop for a moment and catch your breath, you can always find something interesting and unique.

More than anything, this is a blog that will chronicle my world and the things I enjoy.  It’s a chance to share my pictures, write and express myself about those places that interest me.  Ultimately, it’s about proving the title of this corner of the web – that anywhere is, indeed, somewhere.
