Deborah Parrish Snyder-Publisher

Deborah has been the publisher of Synergetic Press since 1984. She is also Exec. VP of Global Ecotechnics Corporation (www.globalecotechnics.com), an international project development and management company, of which Synergetic Press is a division.

Ms. Snyder has, since 1984, been publishing books in biospherics,ethnobotany, psychedelics, vanguard fiction and poetry. She founded and directed the Biosphere Press publishing division for the Biosphere 2 project, set-up its educational programs department, and produced over twenty books, video and educational curriculum titles in the first two start-up years (1990 -1994). She is also a Director of the Institute of Ecotechnics (www.ecotechnics.edu), a non-profit ecological think-tank,helping to manage a number of the international conferences it has hosted over the years on global trends and in the field of closed ecological systems. Full CV

Linda Sperling-Editor

Linda Sperling is a native New Yorker. Graduating summa cum laude from Queens College – CUNY in art history, she is a widely experienced editor, having worked for: Worldwide Books as a bibliographer, as a production editor at McGraw Hill in trade art, fiction and biographies, as a translator of German language art books for Frederick Praeger, Inc., and as managing editor at Oberon Press. She was a highly successful technical writer in the fragrance and flavor industry and edited a series of petroleum engineering textbooks for Prentice Hall before coming to Synergetic Press.

Debbie McFarland-Accounting/Sales Manager 

Originally from Los Angeles, Debbie has lived in Santa Fe since 1998. As an herbalist and midwifery apprentice, she opened a retail herb and vitamin store in 2006 in Santa Fe called Rowan’s Leaf Herbal. She comes to Synergetic Press with a background in accounting, marketing and promotion, database management and sales. Currently she works for Blessingway Author’s Services, managing accounts and doing marketing and promotion. At Synergetic Press, Debbie is in charge of accounting and sales management.

Graciela Ruiz-Social Media Manager

Graciela previously worked as a communications consultant at Best Buy. She is a native New Mexican, currently working on her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Film and Digital Media at the University of New Mexico with an emphasis in Animation.  She is interested in Film, Creating Video Games,Graphic Design and Digital Marketing. She is currently working on two Animated shorts. At Synergetic Press, Graciela is in charge of social media and digital asset management.

Kayle Schnell-Multimedia/Marketing Associate

Kayle is an independent media producer from New York City. She is interested in writing, web-design, documentary film, digital photography and media education. She recently graduated magna cum laude from St. Michael’s College with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, Journalism, Digital Arts and Political Science. Currently she is doing an Americorps program working as a Project Leader for Youth Media Project, a Santa Fe-based non-profit that collaborates with local educational institutions to create youth produced radio stories. In addition she works as a freelance web-designer creating wordpress sites for a variety of clients. In January 2011, she spent a few weeks in Bhutan where she was involved with a media education project in collaboration with the Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy (BCMD).Kayle hopes to pursue documentary story-telling through a variety of different mediums and continue to travel internationally.
